Welcome to the VOLT RIDERS, where the adventure is inclusive and ever-changing! Our group is an ebiking community that's passionate about exploring the beauty of our state together. Here’s an updated look at what we offer:
Join the Volt Riders to experience the state's diverse landscapes on two wheels. Our rides are designed to include everyone, no matter where you live or what your riding level is. Let's pedal into adventure together!
  • Open to Everyone: Whether you're a novice or an expert, everyone is welcome at Volt Riders. We celebrate diversity in riding experience, ensuring that every member can find a ride that suits them.

  • Riding Schedule:

    • Summer: From May to September our rides occur once a week. To make sure everyone can join in, we move these rides around the state, exploring new locations with scenic routes, urban trails, or mountain paths.
    • Winter: During the cooler months, we plan for meet-ups. These are less frequent but are strategically located across the state to accommodate members from different regions, allowing everyone a chance to participate.

  • Membership: Joining Adventure Amp is absolutely free! We believe in inclusivity and want to remove any barriers to enjoying the joy of ebiking. Gear up, bring your ebike, and let's ride together.

  • Community Spirit: Our club isn't just about biking; it's about building a community:

    • Routes will vary from easygoing city tours to challenging mountain trails, ensuring something for everyone.
    • We organize workshops for bike maintenance, safety, and route planning.
    • Post-ride social events are a staple, fostering camaraderie among members.
    • Opportunities for charity rides, environmental initiatives, or exploring local culture.

  • Safety and Accessibility: 

    • While we love exploring, we prioritize safety. Helmets are mandatory, and we adhere to group riding protocols.
    • By moving our rides around, we aim to make ebiking accessible to all, reducing travel distance for members across the state.

Fun Ride - Solo or Small Group Ride

Hop on your bike for a fun 23-mile ride from Leadville to Twin Lakes, guided by Google Maps for easy navigation through Colorado’s stunning high country. The route’s a breeze with clear directions, rolling through jaw-dropping views of the Sawatch Range, past historic mining relics, and alongside the shimmering Twin Lakes. Expect a mix of thrilling descents and smooth flats, perfect for soaking in the Rocky Mountain magic. After chilling in Twin Lakes, maybe snapping pics or grabbing a snack—, ump on the Lake County Transit Shuttle for a cozy ride back to Leadville.

Heads-up: the shuttle only runs on Saturdays and Sundays, so plan your weekend adventure.
